ASAAP-Alliance for South Asian AIDS Prevention
ASAAP is a charitable non-profit organization that can provide those living with and or affected by HIV as well as those from South Asian and Middle Eastern communities with immediate peer support (one-on-one and group) to address issues around mental health, access to immigration and settlement supports, finances and any other needs. If we are not able to meet the needs, we will be happy to meet their immediate needs and warm refer to partner organizations for other needs.

The Assaulted Women’s Helpline offers a 24-hour telephone and TTY crisis line to all woman who have experienced abuse. They provide counselling, emotional support, information and referrals. The Helpline is dedicated to working towards equality for all women.

Community and Legal Aid Services Program (CLASP) is an interdisciplinary Student Legal Aid Service Society with students from Osgoode Hall Law School and the School of Social Work at York University. Under the supervision of lawyers and the Community Outreach Counsellor, students give client referrals, summary advice, and representation.

Sexual health clinic offers variety of services pertaining to sexual health, including birth control counselling, pregnancy testing, as well as sexuality and relationship counselling.

Elizabeth Fry Toronto provides a broad range of counseling services to women who are, have been, or are at risk of conflict with the law, both in the community and institutions. Our counsellors work from a women centered, non-judgmental approach and utilize a counseling model that customizes service plans to the individual needs and concerns of our clients. Counseling is available Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by appointment and all individual services are free of charge.

Independent Legal Advice for Sexual Assault Survivors Pilot Program
Ontario is piloting a new program that will give survivors of sexual assault access to free legal advice, regardless of how much time has passed since the incident. Survivors of sexual assault living in the City of Toronto, the City of Ottawa, and the District of Thunder Bay will be able to receive up to four hours of free, confidential advice from a lawyer. The legal advice may be provided over the phone or in person.
